In case a passenger vehicle or motorbike has been removed from the register during the time they were due for test, they are exempt from the specific added fee as long as their owner brings them to be tested within 15 days from the date of the waiver of the removal of them from the register.
For the rest of the vehicles the Roadworthiness Test is carried out before the waiver of their removal from the register.
For vehicles being already overdue before the start of their removal from the register, the 15-day time limit is not applied after the waiver of their removal from the register and the time period for which these vehicles are considered overdue, counts from the date they were due for roadworthiness testing (including the one week after the effective date on the Roadworthiness Test Card, in the case no serious or dangerous deficiencies are mentioned) until the date they are finally brought to be tested, without counting the period that the removal from the register lasted.
