Per exception, it is possible to revoke a vehicle’s status of immobility, even if it is a car or a motorcycle for private use) within this year- 2021- with a proportional payment of the one twelfth of the annual traffic fee, corresponding to the months of immobilization of the vehicle. 

Vehicle owners have the opportunity again this year to proceed with the lifting of immobility of their vehicles, paying traffic fees depending on the months they wish to put them on the road, without imposing a fine.  

In order to revoke any vehicle’s immobility for a period of 1 month, 1/12 of the annual traffic fees corresponding to that particular vehicle should be paid, for the removal of immobility for a period of 2 months, 2/12 of the amount of the annual traffic fees corresponding to the vehicle should be paid, for the removal of immobility for a period of 3 months, 3/12 of the amount of the annual traffic fees corresponding to the vehicle should be paid, and so on. 

Traffic fees in the above cases are paid before the immobility status shall be revoked.  

The immobilization period of less than a month is considered as a whole month- that is an amount equal to one twelfth of the annual traffic fees should be paid for it.  

Vehicles imported from abroad are considered be the law maker to have been released within that year and traffic fees for the whole year should be paid, provided their owners shall not left them immobilized.  

The owner or the possessor of the vehicle is obliged by law to put his or her vehicle electronically back in immobilization status, until the last day of its registration period, for which the traffic fees have been paid and if it is non-working day or coincides with an official holiday, up to the next working day for the tax administration. 

In case of an overdue status setting to immobility or a non-immobility at all, an independent fine equal to twice the annual traffic fee is imposed, minus twice the amount of the already paid twelfths of the annual registration fees.
